Made of Dyneema fabric—among the most resistant materials in the world, cut- and abrasion-resistant—it incorporates the Aerobag airbag system. The areas of the body protected by the device are the pelvis and torso, the most exposed and least protected in the event of a fall.

The device has been incorporated into specially designed shorts by Nalini.

The total weight for crash protection is less than 500 grams. The system is reusable; simply replace the CO₂ cartridge.

The integrated Airbag Bibshort by Nalini system will be available for purchase starting at the end of May 2026.
