Andrea Casadei will be the team leader of the ten testers selected by the Nalini staff for the Social Ride organized on Saturday, September 6th during the Italian Bike Festival in Misano, 

We're talking about a Paralympic champion competing for Team EQUA, sponsored by Nalini, with a formidable track record:
* 6 Italian National Team titles (2 road races + 4 time trials)
* Numerous placings, over 10 in the European Cup 
* 6 years with the Italian National Paralympic Cycling Team, participating in several World Cups and European Championships.

What better opportunity to get to know him better and find out about his future plans?

A must-know question: what was the milestone that, looking back, still gives you strong emotions?
“The most important achievement, in terms of victory, I believe would be winning the first Italian tricolor jersey as road champion, which I won in 2017 in Ivrea, during the Italian Para-cycling Championships. It was an immense joy for me, for the Team Equa, and for my family. I would also put on the same level the emotion I felt wearing the blue jersey of the Italian National Para-cycling Team for the first time, during a World Cup in Ostend, Belgium. Wearing that jersey is something special, difficult to describe”.

Determination and strength of character are the first qualities that come to mind when describing you, and you've won so much on your bike. What or who helped you most to become the champion you are today?
"The dramatic events that sometimes happen in life certainly leave their mark on you and force you, in one way or another, to unleash a strength and determination that you often don't think you possess. This is what happened to me too: the desire to take control of my life and make a significant change after what happened to me brought out the determination and willpower to achieve important results, in sports and in life in general. The people around me also played an important role, starting with my team and my coach. I will be forever infinitely grateful to them".

In Misano, you'll be leading the Social Ride organized by Nalini: can you tell us a little about the initiative and your partnership with the company?
It will be an exciting initiative that will allow a group of lucky cyclists to preview innovative products and materials. Research is one of the strengths of the Nalini brand, which is definitely cutting-edge. As for me, in addition to Paralympic races, cycling guide is my job, so it will be a huge pleasure for me to accompany and guide the group on the roads and in the Romagna hinterland. I already have a nice route in mind, with technical climbs and breathtaking views: it will be fun! Nalini has been a partner and sponsor of the team I ride for, Team Equa di Santa Cristina e Bissone, for over two years, and provides us with all the racing clothing that allows us to compete at the highest levels. For me, personally, it is a further pleasure and privilege to collaborate with Nalini, this time as a guide and also as a model for the new 2026 Summer collection.

Another usual question: future projects?
"I'm getting married soon, and we'd like to expand our family—a project of primary importance. Professionally, I'll continue competing in the Paralympic Games and acting as a cycling tour guide for those who come to visit our beautiful Italy. At the same time, thanks to the experience I've gained over the years, I'm planning to open a bicycle repair and sales workshop in my hometown, a shop that can become a point of reference for cyclists and cycling enthusiasts living in Romagna".
