From May 8th to 31st, the thrills of the 109th Giro d'Italia will be felt.
A new name—partially—and a new Nalini kit for Team Picnic PostNL Raisin, which will sport, among other items provided by its partner, a bodysuit constructed with Dyneema inserts for greater protection.
From a sporting perspective, the team approaches the Giro with a new goal. Initial plans included targeting the general classification with Max Poole and sprint ambitions with Casper van Uden. However, with Poole still recovering, the approach is clear: race proactively, identify opportunities every day, and give it your all at the right time.
To achieve this goal, the team will field a mix of experienced international riders and five Dutch riders—the Orange Train—a lineup that strongly reflects the team's origins.
