Michele Tassi and Nalini: Love at First Sight

Meeting Michele Tassi, an athlete for Team Equa—of which Nalini has been a partner for several years—on the photoshoot set was the best way to deepen our understanding of him and, at the same time, test some pieces from the new fall/winter collection in real time to gain valuable feedback.

We asked him about his passions and future plans, starting with his first memory on the bike.
“My first memory of cycling dates back to when I was about 12 years old: I received my first BMX as a gift. I spent entire summers with childhood friends, touring and exploring the surrounding villages, experiencing cycling as freedom and pure fun”.

How did your relationship with Team Equa begin?
“My relationship with Team Equa began thanks to Davide Plebani, who introduced me to President Ercole Spada in May 2025. We immediately established a wonderful rapport. On that occasion, he showed me his Carbonbike. It was love at first sight”.

2026 Projects: What are your wishes for you and your team?
"I'm training hard for 2026. I'd like to achieve good results, especially in the two World Championships being held in Italy. I'm confident that, together with the entire team, we can achieve great things and grow even further".

What can you tell us about Nalini? How do you feel about the clothing, and what would you like to see developed in the future?
"I discovered the Nalini brand thanks to my team's uniforms. I had the opportunity to try out the new 2026 winter clothing during a photo shoot: the quality of the materials is top-notch, as are the colors and designs, which don't go unnoticed. A truly Made in Italy excellence.
In the future, I'd like Nalini to also develop sports jackets for everyday use, not just for bike rides: the design and materials deserve to be worn even outside of sports".
